Significant flooding in northern West Virginia claimed the lives of at least five people over the weekend and four others remain missing, officials say.

Wheeling Fire Department Public Informational Officer Philip Stahl said on the MetroNews Morning News Monday the effort to find those still missing would focus on Big Wheeling Creek within the city on Monday. He said the two dozen vehicles washed away in the floodwaters will be checked.
