KYIV, Ukraine (AP) — The number of Russian troops killed or wounded in Ukraine has topped 1 million, military officials in Kyiv said Thursday, describing the huge price that Moscow has paid for its 3-year-old invasion.
Kyiv and Odesa were among the cities struck overnight into Tuesday morning amid another night of intense airstrikes.
Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Thursday that drones had played a major role in the conflict in Ukraine and called for the rapid development and deployment of separate drone forces within the military.
The footage shows drones flying low over Russian runways, explosions lighting up the night sky, and several planes apparently engulfed in flames.
Some 150 droves are transported by truck to inside Russia, where swarms of drones arose from them and went on the attack.
