NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - Mondo Duplantis raised the bar—literally and figuratively—again on Sunday by clearing 6.28 meters at the Diamond League meet in front of his home crowd in Stockholm, setting his 12th pole vault world record.

Mondo Duplantis broke the pole vault world record for the 12th time in his career in front of a delighted home crowd in Stockholm, Sweden.

Mondo Duplantis fulfilled a “dream” by setting his latest pole vault world record in his home county of Sweden. The 25-year-old has now broken the world record 12 times, bettering the record he managed in February by 1cm on his home turf in Stockholm.
