Boelter – who is suspected of two politically-motivated shootings early Saturday that resulted in the deaths of Rep. Melissa Hortman and her husband Mark, and the wounding of Sen. John Hoffman and his wife Yvette – is a resident of Green Isle in Sibley County.
A vehicle belonging to Vance Boelter was discovered in Sibley County on Sunday, prompting emergency officials to issue an emergency alert for residents in the area. Resident Jennifer Brown spoke with FOX 9 about this.
At around 10:00 a.m. local time on Saturday, June 14, police discovered Jenny Boelter in a car with three other relatives during a traffic stop at a convenience store in Onamia, Minnesota. According to 5 Eyewitness News, the car had a handgun, ammo, cash, and passports.
