The 2025 Tony Awards provided an electrifying night full of surprises, emotion, and outstanding artistry, underscoring Broadway’s continuing innovation and creativity. This year’s ceremony reaffirmed the importance of storytelling, performance, and the magic that can only be found in live theatre.

The show won three big awards including best musical. Darren Criss won his first Tony for best leading actor in a musical for his role as the innocent Oliver, and its director Michael Arden won the award for best director of a musical.

Darren Criss also won his first Tony Award for 'Maybe Happy Ending' as did 'Succession' star Sarah Snook for 'The Picture of Dorian Gray.'
