Mariska Hargitay’s new documentary, “My Mom Jayne,” reveals heartbreaking new information about the night her mother Jayne Mansfield died. While shooting her directorial debut, the “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit” star learned how she was accidentally left behind at the scene of the car crash which killed her mother and two other people.

"I'm in a profound moment of gratitude for my family," Hargitay said at the Tribeca Festival premiere for the documentary she made about late mom Jayne Mansfield.

In Hargitay's new documentary, 'My Mom Jayne,' which premiered at the Tribeca Festival on June 13, her siblings recount the moment they were pulled to safety from the wreckage only to realize they lef
