Cavaliers guard Darius Garland has undergone surgery on the injured left big toe that hampered him during Cleveland’s exit from the playoffs.

For the third straight year, the Cleveland Cavaliers were bounced early from the NBA Playoffs, this time in a five-game loss to the Indiana Pacers in the conference semifinals.

Cleveland Cavaliers All-Star guard Darius Garland underwent surgery Monday to repair the injury to his left big toe that forced him out of four playoff games this spring and could, it seems, cause him to miss more time when the new season comes.
