A 25-year-old Freeport man will remain in custody in Cook County, following the line-of-duty death of a Chicago police officer.

Adrian Rucker, a 25-year-old man from Freeport, Illinois, is scheduled to appear in court on several felonies, including armed violence, illegal gun possession, and illegal drug possession, in relation to the accidental shooting death of Chicago police officer Krystal Rivera.
