Aaron Judge hit his fourth home run in three games against the Kansas City Royals on Wednesday, slotting the New York Yankees superstar into multiple pages of the MLB history books.

Judge's two-run homer in the first had an exit velocity of 117.9 mph and traveled 469 feet, landing on the roof of the Royals Hall of Fame in left field.

Southpaw Cole Ragans (2-3, 5.18 ERA) was placed on the 15-day IL with a left rotator cuff strain.

The New York Yankees already-taxed bullpen got some more bad news Tuesday. Reliever Jake Cousins, who showcased an effective arm out of New York’s bullpen in 2024, was shut down due to an elbow injury while making a rehab appearance for Single-A Hudson Valley.

“The whole backstory, it was stuff that I had heard growing up and seen pictures of, from my dad,” Dobbins said on Wednesday.

Giancarlo Stanton is returning to game action. The Yankees announced that the designated hitter will start a rehab assignment with Double-A Somerset on Tuesday night.

Yankees manager Aaron Boone said it was too early to tell when Stanton might return to the big leagues but was optimistic the rehab assignment will not be long.

Giancarlo Stanton will begin his rehab assignment Tuesday night with Double-A Somerset, marking his first game action since straining his left hamstring on May 24.

Stanton has been on the injured list since early in spring training with tendonitis in both elbows, an injury he said he dealt with last season as well.
