A young man in his 20s, suspected of setting fire to the synagogue of Rabbi Yitzhak Yosef in Jerusalem early Sunday morning, was arrested on Monday evening in a joint operation of the Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency) and the Jerusalem District of the Israel Police.
The Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency) arrested a suspect who managed to reach a vehicle in the Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's convoy and puncture one of its tires, Maariv reported on Friday. The incident occurred in the parking lot next to the prime minister’s residence on Gaza Street in Jerusalem.
The Israeli military and Shin Bet eliminated the leader of the Palestinian Mujahideen Movement (PMM), a small Hamas-aligned terrorist faction in the Gaza Strip. The PMM took part in the October 7, 2023 atrocities and kidnapped Israelis and foreign nationals from Israel.
