U.S. banking giant JPMorgan partnered with Coinbase on Wednesday to allow customers to fund their wallets using its Chase credit cards and buy cryptocurrency on the exchange starting in fall 2025.

Nasdaq-listed Coinbase, the biggest US digital assets exchange, has been spearheading the push to change Wall Street attitudes towards crypto. Bernstein analysts wrote that the partnership means “Coinbase is not just acquiring new customers but going where the customer savings are.”

JPMorgan Chase and Coinbase said they’re aiming to make buying crypto “easier than ever” by offering a “direct bank-to-wallet connection” to Coinbase accounts for Chase Ultimate Rewards points, starting next year. Coinbase account holders will also be able to fund their accounts with Chase credit cards starting this fall.
