Kreider confirmed that the Ducks were one of the 15 teams on his no-trade list, but he gave Drury the green light to talk to Anaheim GM Pat Verbeek and ultimately waived his contractual protection to approve the deal.

Shedding his status as the longest-tenured Blueshirt, who first ventured to New York for the 2012 NHL playoffs at age 20, fresh off of Boston College’s campus, Kreider signed off on a trade to the Ducks Thursday morning, The Post’s Larry Brooks first reported.

Moving on from Kreider is general manager Chris Drury’s first offseason change to a roster that underachieved and missed the playoffs.
