Argentina may have already booked their place at the 2026 World Cup, but behind them, CONMEBOL World Cup qualifying has been quite a grind, with only three points separating second-placed Ecuador from sixth-placed Colombia.

Ecuador take on Brazil on Thursday, June 5, at the Estadio Monumental Banco Pichincha in Guayaquil, with kickoff set for 6 p.m. ECT local time in Ecuador. That makes it an 8 p.m. BRT in Brazil, an 7 p.m. ET or 4 p.m. PT kickoff in the US and Canada, a 12 midnight BST start in the UK and a 1 a.m. AEST kickoff in Australia on Monday.

Brazil can clinch their place at the 2026 World Cup this week, beginning with a tricky trip to Ecuador to face the current 2nd-place side in CONMEBOL qualifying on Thursday.
