The Washington Commanders were without star wide receiver Terry McLaurin for the start of the team's three-day minicamp. McLaurin will skip the entire mandatory minicamp, while his representation works with the Commanders on a new long-term deal.

The Denver Broncos need a star wide receiver for Bo Nix to throw to, and if the Commanders can not work out a deal with McLaurin, then he would be the perfect fit in Denver. McLaurin can make plays down the field, he has elite adjustment ability to make athletic catches, and is a reliable target.
